A serious two-vehicle accident on US 31 near US 6 has resulted in one fatality. US 31 is closed to southbound traffic until further notice.
Reconstruction is currently being conducted, according to Sergeant Ted Bohner, the Media Contact for Indiana State Police Bremen District. There is currently no estimated time for when the road will reopen.
