Project D.A.R.E. of Marshall County will be holding their 27th Annual Banquet this Thursday!
At Thursday’s event, Eric Day will be the honored guest speaker for the evening and all the Marshall County students whose essays were selected as winners will have a chance to present their work.
The acronym D.A.R.E stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. It is a national program that pairs local law enforcement officers with students in order to provide them with the skills they need to avoid involvement in drugs, gangs and violence.
Pre-registration was required for this event but as a reminder to those who have already reserved a seat, the event will be held tomorrow at Christos Banquet Center in Plymouth at 6:30 p.m.
