A Bourbon man received minor injuries, when he reportedly crashed a pickup truck into a tree Saturday morning. Officers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department and the Bourbon Police Department were called to the area of 20th Road and Fir Road just after 1:15, after someone reported a man walking around and yelling.
When they got there, officers found a 1990 Chevy 1500 pickup truck that had apparently left the road and collided with a tree, but no one nearby. Police say they eventually found the man a short distance west of the accident site. The man, identified as Orlando Garcia, reportedly told officers that he was driving east on 20th Road when he swerved, causing the truck to run off the roadway and hit the tree.
Marshall County Police say Garcia suffered an injury to his shoulder area. Argos EMS provided medical attention. Garcia was then taken to the hospital for treatment.
