Those driving around eastern Marshall County may encounter some road work Monday. The Marshall County Highway Department will continue the reclaiming process, according to Highway Supervisor Jason Peters.
Crews will start on 5th Road, west from Fir. Then, they’ll turn south on Gumwood Road, west on 5B Road, south on Grape Road, west on 6A Road, south on Hickory Road, and then west on 7B Road for three-and-a-half to four miles.
During the work, Peters says material may be spread on the roadway to help strengthen the base of the roads. He asks drivers to use caution or avoid the area, if possible.
