The Marshall County Community Foundation will announce the recipients of its spring round of Community Fund grants next week. In a press release, the community foundation says it will award more than $100,000 from its Community Fund, plus over $6,000 from the Ralph C. Vonnegut Jr. Fund.
Community Fund grants typically go to projects supporting the arts, education, health and human services, recreation, or the environment. Meanwhile, the Vonnegut Fund focuses specifically on projects at Lake Maxinkuckee – relating to the environment, education, or recreation.
The spring 2018 grant recipients will be announced during a press conference on Wednesday, April 11 in Plymouth. The Marshall County Community Foundation says it’s awarded more than $3.7 million in Community Fund grants since 1995. There are also several other unrestricted funds at the foundation, designed to support new and emerging needs.
