Habitual Traffic Violator Arrested for Allegedly Driving with Meth in Vehicle

Driving around with meth in the car while already being considered a habitual traffic violator is what Plymouth Police say landed a Walkerton man in jail. Officers say Mitchell Platz, 32, was pulled over for a traffic violation near Hoham and Western Tuesday afternoon.

As they were investigating, officers say they learned that Platz was considered a habitual traffic violator. Then a search of the vehicle reportedly turned up methamphetamine, schedule 2 and 4 controlled substances, drug paraphernalia, and a syringe.

Platz was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
