Nature lovers of all ages are invited to attend the Earthworks Wildflower Walk at River Park Square in Plymouth!
Adam Thada, the Director of Ecological Relationships at the Center at Donaldson will be leading the walk along the Yellow River on Sunday from 2:30 p.m. until around 3 p.m.
According to event organizers, aside from identifying riverside plant species and the flowers that are beginning to bloom, Thada will also point out some effects that recent floods left behind and discuss their impact on the local ecology.
Participants will go home with their very own packet of native wildflowers. Walkers can meet up at the Earthworks craft booth that will be set up at the park. People are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes and long pants for this informational walk.
The walk is being held in conjunction with Earth Hug Boogie, the annual week-long event full of fun-nature related activities leading up to Earth Day. If you have any questions call 574-936-2876.
