Bremen Public Schools will be launching a new entrepreneurship program, with some help from the Marshall County Community Foundation. A $10,000 grant was accepted by the Bremen School Board Monday.
Bremen School Superintendent Dr. Jim White says the new program will include offerings for elementary and middle school students, as well as those in high school. “The idea is that by the time they hit the high school course, they will have walked through the lean startup model,” he explains, “and hopefully, kids that are interested and committed can have the skills to pursue their own business interests.”
White says school board member Todd Stuckman applied for the grant on behalf of the school corporation.
