The Plymouth School Board considered accepting donations made to Jefferson Elementary School as well as Plymouth High School when members met Tuesday night.
According to the donation reports provided in the interactive agenda through BoardDocs, from March 13th through the 20th, a total of $650 dollars was donated to Jefferson Elementary School from various individuals.
Additionally, a $10,000 donation was submitted to the high school on behalf of the Gene Haas Foundation in April. According to the organization’s website, the Foundation is committed to manufacturing education and providing scholarship funds.
These donations were among the several items that school board members unanimously approved when accepting all consent items in a single motion.
