Police say two men were injured in a shooting near Culver early Friday. It happened near the area of State Road 17 and Fulton County Road 700 North, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department. Officers say a 911 call came in shortly after midnight from a man who said he’d been shot near a home in the area. When responders arrived, they say they also found a second man who’d been shot at a residence on State Road 17.
Police say the victims, Glenn Charles Linderman, 36, of Plymouth, and Brady Douglas Lemar, 24, of rural Fulton County near Culver, were both flown by helicopter to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. They were both listed in stable condition, as of Friday morning, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department. Officers say they don’t know the motive for the shooting yet, but an investigation has begun.
The Culver Police Department, Aubbeenaubee Township Fire Department, Lutheran EMS, Samaritan Helicopter, and the Fulton County Emergency Management Agency assisted at the scene.
