Plymouth Tri Kappa’s annual Promenade to Prom event will be held tomorrow from 9 a.m. until noon at the Plymouth Wesleyan Church.
Tri-Kappa is a women’s philanthropic organization that has chapters throughout the state of Indiana. Every year, the Plymouth chapter holds this event in order to help local young ladies find free and affordable dresses for prom.
Plymouth chapter representatives say that new and gently worn dresses will be available in a selection of styles, colors and sizes. They will have dressing rooms on site so the gowns can be tried on before they’re taken home.
The first dress is free and any additional dress will cost $10 each.
The event is open to all high school girls in the surrounding area. Students are asked to bring their school I.D or they can have their school account pulled up on their phone or printed out.
