John Glenn School Board Recognizes Students Excelling in Competitions

The John Glenn School Board members recognized several organizations this week where students are excelling in competitions.

Four teams are headed to the state robotics competition. The last two teams come from North Liberty Elementary School who recently qualified for the competition that is set for Saturday, March 10, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The John Glenn High School Academic Decathlon team will be in state competition at Purdue University in Lafayette this Saturday, Feb 10.

Also, the high school’s periodical won the second highest publication award in the state. Additionally, five students also received 12 Gold Key Scholastic writing awards this year. Two students will participate in the national contest.
