If you’d like to help students within Marshall County achieve their post-secondary education dreams, consider making a donation to Argos Dollars for Scholars.
On their organization website, the program is described as an affiliate chapter of the national organization Scholarship America. Argos Dollars for Scholars is a non-profit organization made up of local, unsalaried student and adult volunteers.
It was established to help raise scholarship money for deserving high school graduates who show exceptional past performance and promising future potential.
Organization representatives would like to stress that all contributions, regardless of size are vital. The cost of higher education continues to increase and for many students, finding enough funds for college may be out of reach. Individuals are encouraged to let our community’s young people know that we appreciate and support them by helping them pursue their educational goals.
