Parents of Culver Community School students may soon be asked to provide input on the school’s strategic plan.
Superintendent Karen Shuman said that when school board member met this week, they discussed the possibility of holding a public session in order to gather community feedback about the strategic plan.
Shuman previously stated that the plan includes short-term objectives and long-term goals about financial management, facility improvements and increasing enrollment.
When members met Monday, they also continued to discuss policy updates. Shuman mentioned that they are going through the codebook, assessing existing policies in order to rework or potentially eliminate any that seem outdated or irrelevant. Shuman said that so far, no removal or amendment requests have been made.
