Four More Arrests Announced, Following Tippecanoe Warrant Sweep

Marshall County Prosecutor Nelson Chipman has announced four more arrests as part of a warrant sweep Thursday on 18B Road in Tippecanoe.

Chipman says a search of the home of Storm Kinsey, 23, reportedly turned up precursors for a meth lab, along with several items believed to have been stolen from Kosciusko, St. Joseph and Marshall counties. Kinsey was arrested for auto theft, dealing in methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine. Police also arrested Brent Hessler, 25, of Bremen and Shelby Laubham, 23, of Tippecanoe.

Meanwhile, David Burkett, 50, was arrested at the Gulf Stream plant in Etna Green for an outstanding arrest warrant for four Level 5 felony counts of dealing in a schedule 1 drug, according to Prosecutor Chipman. When he was arrested, Burkett allegedly had methamphetamine on his person.

Chipman says the arrests were part of a coordinated operation that involved over two dozen officers from the Indiana State Police, Marshall County Police Department, Marshall County Drug Task Force, Plymouth Police Department, Bremen Police Department, and Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. A total of seven people were arrested in connection with Thursday’s warrant sweep. The arrests of Gabriel Geldner, Kevin Brock, and Adam Dille had previously been announced by Indiana State Police.
