Marshall County Highway Department reps want to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas. They say drivers should be prepared since it’s looking like it’s going to be a white one.
Due to information received about tomorrow’s snowy forecast, Marshall County Highway Department crews plan to start around 1pm tomorrow afternoon. They intend to plow and treat as many roads as possible based on amount of snow fall.
They’re hoping to get crews out a little ahead of time before Christmas Eve travel . Based on amount of snow fall crews may concentrate on higher traveled roads per township.
The Marshall County Highway Department reminds motorists to travel with caution, slow down and allow a little extra time to stop . They also ask that drivers please allow a little extra time for travel , be prepared for snow covered roads and slick roadways and intersections.
