Plymouth High School was recently recognized for the success of its dual credit courses. It was one of 130 schools honored by State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jennifer McCormick last Monday, during a Dual Credit Ceremony at the Indiana Statehouse.
Plymouth Superintendent Andy Hartley attended the event with Principal Jim Condon and Weidner School of Inquiry Co-Director Jennifer Felke. “It was a pleasure to be down there and be recognized and to celebrate that,” Hartley told the school board last week, “and that continues to be a great opportunity for our students.”
Last week’s ceremony recognized schools that had at least a 30-percent success rate “in providing students with access to and success in Dual Credit courses, during the 2015-2016 school year,” according to the Indiana Department of Education.
