Culver Community Schools Superintendent Karen Shuman said that when school board members met earlier this week, they discussed opportunities which are currently being offered to students and different ways they could provide more to the community.
Board members first addressed the fact that more accelerated classes are being offered for middle school students this year. Superintendent Shuman stated that board members and other school officials are currently in the process investigating more career and technical programs for students at the high school level.
Shuman said they have also been researching the feasibility of providing a pre-school program for four and five-year-olds within the community. Shuman encourages parents who are interested in their child attending a pre-school class at Culver to call the central office at 574-842-3364.
