Pastor Thomas Keb of the Plymouth Baptist Church is working closely with the Sabine Neches Baptist Area Association to provide assistance to Texans impacted by the recent natural disaster. Keb said a semi-trailer will be parked at Plymouth Baptist Church and he’s looking to fill it with requested items that can help assist victims in regaining some type of normality in these trying times.
Keb said the item list was received from Jimmie Neel, the association missionary for the 100 churches they are partnered with in Texas. Neel said they will get all the supplies into the hands of “front line” ministries and churches that are assisting those in need.
Monetary contributions or gift cards can be donated, as well as non-perishable foods. The list also includes toiletries, cleaners, cleaning supplies and large garbage bags. They are seeking baby supplies, feminine hygiene products and toilet paper. Approximately 100 dust masks are being requested along with cloth and paper towels, 3 and 5 gallon buckets and rubber gloves.
The church is located at 11345 9A Road in Plymouth. If you have any questions, contact them at 574-936-5886.
