A report of a younger woman battering an older woman was investigated by Plymouth Police Saturday afternoon. Officers say it happened around 12:45 in the 1700 block of West Jefferson Street.
When police arrived, they say they detained Jasmine Perry, 23. Officers say she was taken to the hospital to be evaluated by the Bowen Center.
Meanwhile, the victim, Barbara Jo Finney, 47, was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Finney was taken to the emergency room to be checked out and then was taken to jail for Public Intoxication.
