State Officials Encourage Residents and Businesses to Catch Up on Prior Years’ Tax Filings

It’s never too late to pay your taxes, according to the Indiana Department of Revenue. State officials remind residents that if they filed a federal return, they need to file a state return, as well.

To bring your tax filing status up to date, go to the Indiana State Prior Year Tax Forms web page and choose the tax form for the year you need to file. You can then complete and return the form. If you’re not sure whether you filed for a particular year, call the Indiana Department of Revenue at 317-232-2240.

Businesses that have fallen behind in their state tax payments can catch up with the state’s voluntary disclosure agreement program.
