The Argos School Board met for their monthly meeting Monday evening and discussed a program that they will be offering for the first time this year. The “Lil Dragons” all-day pre-K program is set to kick off in September of this school year.
The preschool program is meant to help children who are one year away from entering Kindergarten get familiarized with the school and the learning process. Trained staff will provide high quality learning and care to students from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Full-day students will have access to lunch and snacks.
Transportation at the beginning and end of the school day will be provided by the Argos Community School Corporation. However, transportation at any other time falls under the responsibility of parents.
A $25 supply fee must be paid prior to the first day of school on Monday, September 11th. Weekly rates range from $40-$60 depending on a student’s level of permitted financial assistance. Direct any other questions you may have to the main office at 574-892-5139.
