A Culver woman wanted on active arrest warrants was taken into custody Tuesday, but not before police reportedly found suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, and a sawed off shotgun in the car she was riding in.
Nancy Mara Leigh McFarland, 25, had two active warrants for her arrest through Marshall County, according to police. A Marshall County Police officer says he saw her at the Pilot Truck Stop in Plymouth around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon and pulled over the vehicle she’d been riding in.
McFarland was arrested for the two warrants and Possession of Methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle, Peter John Rink, 40, of LaPaz, was also arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, as well as Possession of a Handgun without a License.
Police say a case report will be sent to the Marshall County Prosecutor for formal charges.
