Due to an increase in technology use at Culver Community Schools, the School Board voted unanimously to re-write the contract of Technology Director Daniel Medesi in order to provide sufficient compensation.
Superintendent Karen Shuman explained why the technology director’s contract had to be modified, “We re-wrote his contract to make his pay equitable to people in the area and because we have taken on more devices in grades three through six.”
Culver students in third through twelfth grade now utilize iPads for educational purposes. Students in grades 6 through 12 are permitted to take iPads home for assignments while grades 3 through 5 use a set that stays in the classroom.
