A Plymouth resident has been helping guide Indiana State Police troopers during emergencies for over two decades. Juliet Keeling recently celebrated her 20th anniversary as State Police dispatcher.
She began working at the Bremen Post on June 2, 1997, and moved to the Toll Road Post in February of 2011, according to an ISP press release. She’s served as a communications training officer, and is certified in IDACS, CPR, and First Aid.
Keeling says the job has changed quite a bit over the past 20 years. She says when she first started out, much of the work was done with pencil, paper, and a small radio console. Now, dispatchers use computers with several different monitors.
