An ATV rider was arrested and his passenger was injured, after a crash near Koontz Lake Thursday night. Shortly after 11:00 p.m., emergency responders were called to the 20,000 block of 4B Road.
The driver of the ATV, Kyle David McAvoy, 28, of Highland, was found to be intoxicated, according to Marshall County Police. He was arrested, while his female passenger was taken to the hospital in Plymouth by Walkerton EMS.
The Walkerton Police Department, Polk Township Fire Department, and Plymouth Fire Department Medics also responded.
