Off-Road Vehicle Leads Plymouth Police on Chase, Gets Stuck

An off-road vehicle led police on a chase through the City of Plymouth Wednesday night. Plymouth Police say it happened around 10:30 p.m., when they tried to pull over the vehicle near the intersection of Markley and Western.

The driver refused to stop, and a pursuit began. The vehicle reportedly led police out of the city, and Marshall County Police joined the chase. Officers say when the driver tried to take the vehicle off-road south of Plymouth, it got stuck in the flood plain of the Yellow River. The driver then fled on foot, according to officers.

Police say they’ve identified a suspect, and have forwarded the case to the Marshall County Prosecutor.
