North Liberty Woman Arrested for Drunk Driving

A North Liberty woman was booked into the Marshall County Jail after she was allegedly driving her vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies received a phone call shortly after 6 a.m. on Saturday about a driver hitting a parked car in the parking lot at the LaPaz Café. When officers arrived at the scene they say they found Melody Farnsworth passed out behind the wheel.

She was determined to be under the influence of alcohol, according to a press release.
Farnsworth, 32, has preliminary charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of less than .15% and resisting law enforcement.
