Plymouth Board of Works to Consider Final Version of Pavement Asset Management Plan

Plans for road maintenance in the City of Plymouth will be considered during tonight’s board of works meeting. Earlier this month, City Engineer Rick Gaul gave board members a preliminary version of a pavement asset management plan. Tonight, he’ll present the final plan for 2017, as well as a five-year plan.

In other business, board members will consider leasing two spaces in a city parking lot to Reese’s Family Ribs for the placement of barbecue grills. Tonight’s Plymouth Board of Works meeting starts at 6:00 in the City Council Chambers, followed by the Plymouth City Council meeting at 6:30.

An ordinance raising the pay of Plymouth Police officers will be introduced for first reading during tonight’s council meeting. A recent wage study found that Plymouth had one of the lowest base salaries for police officers, among similar departments.

The city council is also scheduled to hear from retiring airport manager Dave Lattimer.
