A former Marshall County elected official is looking at another run for office.
Bill Cleavenger most recently served two terms as coroner, but did not run again due to term limits.
He’s formed an exploratory committee to seek the Republican nomination for Marshall County Recorder in 2018, becoming the first candidate for any county-wide office to do so.
Current Recorder Marlene Mahler cannot run again for that seat due to term limits.
Candidates cannot formally file until January.
