Argos School Board Approves Bond Issue for Building Renovations

Argos Community Schools is moving ahead with some building renovations and other capital projects. Last week, the school board approved a resolution to issue $2 million in bonds, according to Interim Superintendent Dr. Robert Boyd.

He says that money will let the corporation replace its boiler system and repave parking lots and driveways. Interior renovations, like painting and new carpeting, are also planned.

Boyd says the bonds will also allow the corporation to reimburse its General Fund for capital improvements made over the past five years.
