An organization that serves as the voice for service and volunteerism in the state has grants available for community volunteer projects.
Serve Indiana will award grants of up to $2,500 for National Volunteer Week and Spring/Summer Alternative Day initiatives.
National Volunteer Week is April 23-29, 2017.
Projects should demonstrate community connections and use of local resources and build capacity of local volunteer centers and national service programs through regional networking and co-planning of activities. They should also increase the commitment to and understanding of national service and volunteerism.
Grants will also be awarded for Alternative Day of Service Projects that align with your organization’s needs and schedule. Proposals should identify the date and why it was selected.
Applications are due Monday, March 20.
