The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is celebrating Easter with special train excursions next month. Three Easter Trains will run on Saturday, April 15. They’ll depart from the North Judson depot at 10:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m. CDT.
Each train ride will include a round trip to the Kankakee River at English Lake, before stopping for an Easter Egg Hunt and a visit with the Easter Bunny. Children and youths age 15 and under will get a bag of toys and candy from the Easter Bunny, before returning to the depot. The total trip time is about an hour and 15 minutes. Passengers may ride in a vintage caboose, passenger coach, or open-air sightseeing car.
