A welfare check by Plymouth Police on a restaurant patron ended with a trip to jail after officers reportedly found drugs in the man’s vehicle.
They responded to the McDonald’s at 2010 N. Michigan St. at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday and spoke with Tommy Elsea, whose car was parked at the restaurant.
The officers reportedly found methamphetamine and marijuana and observed Elsea was intoxicated. He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail.
