A Wakarusa man faces a battery charge in Marshall County after he reportedly fought with officers who were trying to arrest him.
Officers from the Marshall County, Bremen and Indiana State Police all responded to Creekside School at 6378 Beech Road in Bourbon just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday for a call of an intoxicated man who may have broken into the building.
Officers reportedly saw 37-year-old Jason L. Yoder flee into the basement. He reportedly resisted law enforcement before being taken into custody. Yoder faces charges of resisting law enforcement, battery of a law enforcement officer and public intoxication.
