A pair of Illinois men face felony charges in Marshall County following an early morning traffic stop on U.S. 30.
A Marshall County Police Department Officer stopped a vehicle on U.S. 30 near Rose Road at 1:40 a.m.
He determined the vehicle’s occupants were in possession of a substance believed to be cocaine, along with items used for distribution, according to the incident report.
The driver, 69-year-old Jesse Boykins, Jr. of Maywood, Ill. was arrested for carrying a handgun without a license. The passenger, 53-year-old Mark Leonard Jackson of Maywood, Ill. was arrested for dealing in cocaine greater than 10 grams, possession of cocaine and possession of paraphernalia.
