A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery at the Economy Inn in Plymouth last month, and police are still searching for a woman who was reportedly involved as well.
Plymouth Police received a report of a robbery occurring at the Economy Inn on Dec. 11. The victim was injured and cut, according to investigators, who say he told them all of his personal belongings had been taken. He also told them he had been tied up by two men and a woman and left in a motel room but was able to escape after the suspects got away.
Further investigation by Plymouth Police detectives resulted in the identification of the three suspects, one of whom is now deceased. On Jan. 4, arrest warrants were issued for 20-year-old Gregory Peppers of Bremen and 27-year-old Abbey M. Sterling, whose address is unknown.
Peppers was arrested Jan. 5th by Plymouth Police Det. Sgt. Leo Mangus. Any information about Sterling’s whereabouts should be directed to him at 574-936-2126 Ext. 1208.
