Two Bourbon men were taken to the Marshall County Jail in separate battery incidents this week.
Bourbon Police say the first allegedly took place shortly before 12:50 Thursday morning. An officer responded to a report of a domestic situation in the 400 block of North Lincoln Street, and Matthew S. Sechrist was taken to jail and charged with Domestic Battery.
Then around 12:30 this morning, police say a woman came in to the Bourbon Police Department saying she’d been battered by her boyfriend. An officer went to the home and found Jeffrey H. Jackson, who was allegedly intoxicated. An investigation took place, and Jackson was arrested on a Felony Domestic Battery charge, due to a previous conviction.
