Bremen ISP Post Receives AED Donation

ISP_logo_1State troopers from the Bremen post have access to potentially life-saving equipment thanks to the continued generosity of a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting heart health.

The Blot for the Heart Foundation presented 95 Automatic External Defibrillators to the Indiana State Police. They will be kept in patrol cars so troopers can administer aid in emergency situations.

Of the 95 AED’s, six were presented to troopers from the Bremen ISP post, which covers Marshall, Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties. Troopers Kyle Glaze, Korinne Reinke and Jonathan Price recently participated in the Bolt for the Heart 5k virtual run for the Bremen Post which helped raise money for the AED’s.

This is the second donation of AED’s the Bolt for the Heart Foundation has made to the Indiana State Police this year. The organization presented more than 50 to the ISP back in March.
