A man and woman from Warsaw spent Thanksgiving night in the Marshall County Jail after a traffic stop on U.S. 30 just east of U.S. 31.
The Marshall County Dispatch Center got a call just before 10 p.m. about a vehicle that was all over the roadway on U.S. 31 southbound from U.S. 6. A county officer pulled the vehicle over and determined the driver, 24-year-old Lucas Ryan Elder of Warsaw, was impaired.


He was arrested on charges of possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a syringe, operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person and operating a vehicle while intoxicated controlled substance.
His passenger, 24-year-old Andrea Nicle French of Warsaw, was also arrested. She faces possession of heroin, possession of paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a syringe charges.
