Murder charges have been filed against the two suspects in a Marshall County homicide. Investigators say 18-year-old Gauvin Monaghan and 19-year-old Maeson Coffin were renting a house in Plymouth from 78-year-old Richard Paul Costello and had not been paying him.
Investigators were called to that residence last Saturday after family members had not seen Costello for a few days. He was found dead of blunt force trauma, and his car was missing.
The vehicle was later recovered in Watertown, N.Y. at Monaghan’s mother’s house. He and Coffin also face auto theft charges.
