A suspected homicide is being investigated by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. Shortly before 1:00 p.m. Saturday, police were called to a home in the 18000 block of Lincoln Highway near Plymouth, for a person found dead on the property.
While gathering information, officers say they learned that a brown 2007 Buick LaCrosse belonging to the property owner was missing from the home. Police are still looking for information on the vehicle. It has an Indiana registration of 805SAG.
Marshall County Police say they’re waiting for the results of an autopsy before releasing the victim’s name or manner of death. That autopsy is set for Monday afternoon. In the meantime, officers say they’re treating the unattended death as a homicide.
