A Culver woman faces criminal charges following a single-vehicle accident last week in Marshall County. It happened on Tuesday, Nov. 22 in the area of Peach Road, south of 14th Road, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
The driver, 25-year-old Tyne Erin Byers of Culver, called 911 and told the dispatcher her van had gone off the roadway, rolled onto its side and she was unable to get out.
A Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy responded and helped Byers from the van and took her to the hospital in Plymouth for a chemical test. She was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, controlled substance.
