An autopsy is scheduled this afternoon on a suspected Marshall County homicide victim. Police were called to a home in the 18000 block of Lincoln Highway near Plymouth shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday to investigate a person found dead on the property.
During the investigation, officers discovered a brown 2007 Buick LaCrossee belonging to the property owner was missing.
Authorities say car was found Sunday in Watertown, New York near the Canadian border. The two men in the car were arrested on auto theft charges. However police have not said if they are suspects in the homicide.
An autopsy is scheduled this afternoon. Until it’s complete, authorities are not releasing the victim’s name or manner of death. They are treating the unattended death as a homicide.
