Plymouth will be starring in its own documentary this December.
WNIT Television is searching for volunteer videographers from the Plymouth area through November 7th to participate in the development of the film, “Our Town: Plymouth.” Its part of a series that explores the towns and people within Indiana communities and tries to identify what makes each one unique.
Those volunteering to gather film will be asked to record historical sites and popular hangouts as well as explore community traditions and other places known to local residents.
Representatives of the television station recently met with tourism officials to identify possible locations and gather contact information for individuals who may want to be interviewed.
Volunteer videographers will be tasked with filming their own community “scrapbook” that will be edited by WNIT-TV to create the one-hour documentary. Plymouth residents participating in the filming will receive training from the station’s staff before they begin their project.
The film will premiere December 1st at 8:00 p.m. on WNIT-TV television.
