The Marshall County Health Department says they have some well water test kits available for those concerned about the safety of their drinking water.
The Indiana State Department of Health distributed the kits following heavy rains and reports of flooding in Marshall County in August and September. The 24 available kits are designed to test well water for potential problems.
The service is being provided free of cost in Marshall County, but the samples are expected to be taken within 30 hours of testing by a state laboratory.
The results will be available next week for residents taking advantage of the service.
