Indiana State Police say they’re investigating possible voter registration fraud in Hendricks and Marion Counties.
The investigation began in late August and has been aided by the Indiana Secretary of State’s office. State Police said in a news release that they have confirmed several instances of voter fraud.
Due to the scope and complexity of the fraud, state police say it will likely take time to fully investigate. Nonetheless, they say the investigation is limited to those two counties for the time being, but suggest their searches may widen in the future.
ISP says they will forward their material findings to the local prosecutor’s offices once they are complete.
