A convicted sex offender faces a new charge in Marshall County after reportedly failing to register his new address with authorities.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department recently learned that 33-year-old Jimmy Dean Jones had moved and had not updated his contact information as per requirements of the sex offender law. He was arrested Sunday at noon in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Plymouth. The report will be forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for consideration of formal charges.
