SBA Makes Disaster Loans Available to Marshall County Residents

news-2Low-interest disaster loans are now available for Marshall County residents who suffered flood damage from the storms on August 15 and 16. The U.S. Small Business Administration is making the loans available, according to the Marshall County Emergency Management Agency.

Applications are available at sba.gov/disaster or by calling 1-800-659-2955. The Small Business Administration has also set up a Disaster Loan Outreach Center to help residents with their applications. It’s located at the O’Brien Recreation Center at 321 East Walter Street in South Bend. The outreach center is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. through Tuesday, September 20.

Applications for physical property damage are due by November 1, 2016, while the deadline for economic injury applications is June 1, 2017.
