Plymouth Police have arrested a man they say attacked a juvenile on Thursday.
The incident occurred in the 1300 block of West Madison Street where officers say an argument was taking place. The suspect, 44-year-old James Hagood was found holding a metal pipe and yelling at those present at the scene.
Investigators allege Hagood was not complying with commands to drop the object while trying to understand the situation. That’s when police used a taser to subdue the suspect and take him into custody.
Hagood was transported to the Marshall County Jail. He is facing charges of Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct.
